Psychotherapy, 60 min-30min: $100-200 per service
CPT 90837- Psychotherapy, 60 minutes
CPT 90834- Psychotherapy, 45 minutes
CPT 90832- Psychotherapy, 30 minutes
Family psychotherapy: $150-200
Please note: UMR and PEIA do not pay for family psychotherapy as they consider it for adult 18+ to be Couples Counseling.
CPT 90847- Family psychotherapy with the patient present
CPT 90846- Family psychotherapy without the patient present
Insurance
Each therapist has their own accepted insurance plan’s. Please see therapist profiles for accepted insurances.
Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
What is my deductible and has it been met?
How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
Is approval required from my primary care physician?
Am I allowed to utilize telehealth with my policy?
What is a deductible?
A deductible is the amount you pay each year for most eligible medical services or medications before your health plan begins to share in the cost of covered services.
Then you either have a copay or coinsurance.
What is a copay?
A copay (or copayment) is a flat fee that you pay on the spot each time you go to your medical provider or therapist.
What is a coinsurance?
Coinsurance is a percentage of the medical cost you pay after your deductible has been met. Coinsurance is a way of saying that you and your insurance each pay a share of eligible costs that add up to 100 percent.
For example, if your coinsurance is 20 percent, you pay 20 percent of the cost of your covered medical bills.
Payment
Due at time of service. Accepts cash and all major credit cards.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session.
